During this workshop we will be looking at the practice of yoga and meditation. Learning how to relax more deeply into our body and mind, finding creative ways of working with your mind and emotions in a busy world.

We will explore a combination of dynamic, Yang flowing movement through a combination of circular and spiral patterns as well as Yin-style practice, focusing on restorative and meditative practices, working with more subtle energetic aspects of our being. I will also be introducing some meditation practices: Samatha (for calming & positive emotion) and also Vipassana (insight).

We will also have the opportunity to connect to the qualities of the mysterious figure of the “Dakini” Buddhist term, meaning “she who traverses the sky” or “she who moves in space.” “Sky Walker or Dancer”. Dakinis are seen as manifestations of energy, they are usually depicted as dancing. In the Tantric Buddhist tradition of Tibet, Dakinis represent manifestations of energy in female form, the movement of energy in space. freedom in the sky or space.

This workshop is ideal for anybody wishing to explore yoga and meditation for the first time, or students with an established practice wishing to go deeper.
