Susi Wrenshaw is a Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist and Trauma Therapist. She is also an Ayurvedic Consultant and Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner. Her yoga classes are trauma-sensitive and compliment the natural cycles of the seasons and their influence on us. Harmony and balance are at the core of Susi’s teaching.
Most of Susi’s classes incorporate breath-led, easy to follow flowing movements which are relaxing, enjoyable and uplifting as well as longer held postures to develop deep strength and release. Guided relaxation and meditation also feature along with breathing exercises.
Classes with Susi are welcoming, accepting and non-judgemental where yoga students can learn to appreciate the quieter moments in life and to connect to that part of themselves which is constant: awareness.
A nurturing, light-hearted approach is important to Susi as is cultivating self-awareness as the foundation for your practice. At the very least a regular yoga practice should improve or help maintain your physical and mental health whilst making you more comfortable to more fully inhabit your own skin.
Susi continues her lifelong learning through postgraduate teacher training with The Yoga Academy / British Wheel of Yoga (500RYT) and Yoga Therapy with Dru Yoga (500 hours).
