Chelsea found yoga in 2016, learning first hand about it’s incredible power as a therapeutic tool in stressful and anxious times. She has since developed a strong desire to share its benefits, especially for improving mental wellbeing.
She is particularly passionate about making yoga and mindfulness more available to young people as they deal with increasing school and social pressures growing up today. She personally wishes the mindful yoga practices and philosophy had been introduced to her during her adolescent years!
Having completed an initial 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India, she went on to qualify as a Yoga and Mindfulness for Teens teacher with Charlotta Martinus of TeenYoga.
Chelsea’s classes draw on her training in Hatha Vinyasa and Iyengar styles, as well as bringing in restorative and deep relaxation elements, always with a mindful approach. Join her for a friendly, welcoming and light-hearted practice that embodies mental, emotional and physical yoga. She has recently moved up to Manchester after teaching adults and teenagers in and around her hometown – Cheltenham – for the past year and is looking forward to continuing her journey with the yoga community up north!
