This ten week course will introduce students to the fundamental aspects of Vinyasa Yoga, a dynamic, flowing style of Yoga.
Classes include foundation postures, breathing practices and mediation work with these elements gradually being combined and built into a flowing sequence to develop strength, flexibility and a sense of calm.
Each course will focus on a specific type of posture (eg. forward folding/ back bending/ hip opening/ twists) building awareness of alignment in the body.
It is therefore possible to attend this course several times to build understanding of all these different aspects before moving up to the intermediate class.
