This class is now taught live online each Tuesday to foster a sense of community between women now necessarily isolated at home.
Each week as well as joining us for the live class, meeting other women and learning about Active Birth, you will also have access to a library of pre recorded 30 minute classes so that you can continue to deepen your practice at home.
Yoga is the ideal exercise during pregnancy and as preparation for labour.
This class will give you all the resources you need for a natural Active Birth.
Classes include both practice and theory – with birth physiology being taught in an experiential way so that you understand how the physiology relates to your own body.
Practices include gentle stretches and strengthening, movements and positions for labour and birth, a focus on breathing practices that help calm during pregnancy and provide relief from pain in labour. Pelvic floor work both to strengthen and learn to release in readiness for labour. Partner work and a long, guided, relaxation.
These antenatal classes will help you develop a feeling of confidence and trust in what your body can do.
You can start this course anytime from being 14 weeks plus pregnant.
Each student has their own 8 week rolling block which is taken within a 10 week period.
