This ten week course will introduce, and build on, the fundamental aspects of Vinyasa Yoga, a dynamic, flowing style of Yoga.
Classes include Sunsalutations and a slow flow with new foundation postures being broken down in more details and added to the flow each week.
These flowing sequence to develop strength, flexibility and a sense of calm.
Each course will focus on a specific type of posture (eg. forward folding/ back bending/ hip opening/ twists) building awareness of alignment in the body.
It is therefore possible to attend this course several times to build understanding of all these different aspects before moving up to the intermediate class.
This course is suitable for those with some prior experience of Yoga who would like to take their practice further within a slow flowing class.
