This class is suitable for complete beginners and students who want to refresh their knowledge of basic yoga postures and breathing
In this class, Janine will teach you basic yoga postures and breathing techniques. You will be taught how to hold a series of poses to improve your strength and learn the techniques of gently flowing through a sequence of postures to improve coordination. Janine includes various functional and somatic movement techniques to make the class fun and playful.
Regular attendance will enable you to build strength and flexibility, whilst learning to be more aware of your body and less stressed. You need to be able to get up and down off the floor unassisted to attend this class. Please let Janine know if you have any major health issues or injuries before attending.
