This 30 minute class starts with a five minute warm up, 20 minutes of high intensity interval training. Followed by a 5 minute stretch/cool down.
HIIT is a training technique where you give 100% effort in short bursts followed by short periods of recovery. This type of training keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. HIIT classes are proven to be the quickest way to raise your metabolism and slow down the ageing process.
The class is suitable for all levels of fitness as you work within your own capabilities. Mel will show you regressions to the exercises so that you can choose what level to work at. It’s a very fun fast class which will have you buzzing afterwards.
