The inspiration for my teaching comes from several different yoga traditions. I have been lucky to have experienced the teachings of many wonderful teachers throughout the world and through them have practiced Atma Vikasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Hatha, Vini and Yin yoga. Rather than dogmatically follow any one particular sequence of postures, I like to draw on all these influences to keep the practice engaging.

I work with a Vinyasa Yoga style, linking movement and breath in a dynamic flowing sequence. I hope that by learning to use the breath to carry us through challenging postures and movements we can learn that it is possible to move through challenges in every day life.

My yoga for pregnancy classes are tailored specifically for women’s needs at this time, focussing on postures and breathing techniques that will help you during pregnancy and labour.

Postnatal recovery classes are a fun mix of postures aimed at stretching and strengthening for mums and gentle movements and songs for babies.

I am certified to teach by the British Wheel of Yoga with whom I also hold certification to teach pregnancy yoga and postnatal recovery and baby yoga. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (500hrs) with The Yoga Alliance. I completed a degree in physiotherapy in 2004.
