Sadhana Yoga: blends a wide range of Yogic principles drawing on influences from a variety of Yogic practices using pranayama (breath practices), bandhas (internal energy ‘locks’), mudras (symbolic hand gestures), meditation and relaxation techniques.

Working with the whole body both internally and externally, Sadhana Yoga aims to bring warmth into the heart, strength into the physical body, clarity and intellect into the mind and a freedom to our spirit.

Pilates focuses on core stability that will bring tone, suppleness and flexibility into the spine and the core postural muscles in the abdomen. Pilates works with the breath and is an excellent way to strengthen the whole spine esp. if you have a back problem. Pilate’s exercises are ideal if you want to learn how to move your spine safely and effectively and is also a great complement to Yoga.

All my classes are suitable for all levels – all I ask is that you listen to your body and go as far as you wish. Just be mindful not just to the physical body, but to the breath and the mind.
