Pilates is a complete exercise method which works on strengthening your
core set of stabilising muscles of the abdomen, back and pelvis. It lengthens,
strengthens and tones the body, working on correcting imbalance and poor
posture.
Pilates is a fantastic form of exercise especially for those who suffer
from back pain and postural problems or women who want to gain strength
and tone after having children.
My teaching is both friendly and accessible whilst still encouraging students
to stay true to some of the basic Pilates principles of control, precision,
relaxation and concentration.
I teach beginners, mixed ability and intermediate/advanced classes at
other venues in Chorlton for Energy Flow Fitness. The class here at the
Yoga Rooms is a Mixed Ability class - Beginners are welcome. These are
all available on a drop in basis with no need to book. I also teach in
various community settings across South Manchester and also do one to
one tuition or small groups in your own home.
Jo is fully qualified and insured and is a member of the Register of Exercise
Professionals which ensures standards of professionalism, qualifications
and continuing professional development of it’s members.
