Coronavirus Update

Hello to all The Yoga Rooms community,

We wanted to reassure you that we are continuing to allow more space for each student attending in-person classes. All our cleaning and social distancing protocols will continue to be in place too so we can all feel safe.

Classes & Courses

You need to book your class or course in advance now. You can no longer turn up and pay in the studio. We are live streaming all of our classes and courses, so you can choose to attend in person, or enjoy the session live online from your own home.

Self Isolating

The most common symptoms of Coronavirus are a continuous cough, a loss of sense of smell or taste and/or a high temperature. Government guidance is that if you have even one of these symptoms of Coronavirus, however mild you should to stay at home and get a test. If your test comes back positive, someone from the NHS Track and Trace team will get in touch with you. Please do not come to class if you have any Coronavirus symptoms.

Cleaning and Ventilation

We have increased our cleaning regime. Our professional cleaner is using Zoono surface cleaner on all touchable surfaces. Zoono bonds to the surface to create a protective layer. This extra protective layer of tiny pins attracts pathogens. The pathogens burst like a balloon on contact and it’s unique technology keeps working after it’s been applied.

Our teachers will be cleaning the whole space between each class using a Dew de-ionised water in a fogging machine. This means that not only are all surfaces sanitised (the floor, the door handles, the toilets, sinks and the shelving unit where shoes / coats and bags are stored) but also the air itself! This product is incredibly safe and gentle.

We also have a Meaco air purifier system which will be removing allergens and pollutants from the air. It’s UV light system will be destroying viruses inside of the purifier.

We’ve got lots of soap and hand sanitiser stations in our hallway, changing area, toilets and studio too.

Physical Distancing

We are continuing to allow more space for each student for in-person classes. We have pre-marked places for you to stand on the stairs and outside whilst you are waiting to enter the studio. There are only 2 people allowed in the changing room area at any one time. There are pre-marked orange lines for you to lay down your mat inside of the studio.

We kindly ask that you maintain some level of distancing from your fellow students and teacher whilst practicing and changing at The Yoga Rooms at this time.

QR Code in our Changing Area

We now have an NHS Test and Trace QR code up in the changing room at the studio. It is optional for you to use this as we have all students details saved through our booking system. You need to download the NHS Test and Trace App if you do wish to check in in this way.
