I have been teaching Yoga for 16 years.

My practice began in Glasgow in 1986 whilst studying sculpture and today I am still fascinated by the power of touch and the beauty of form.

My introduction to yoga was in the Iyengar tradition and I qualified as an Iyengar teacher in 1994. Later I was introduced to Ashtanga yoga and my interest in fluid form infused with the breath developed from there. I have worked with many inspiring teachers, especially Donna Farhi, completing advanced teacher training with her in 2004. I have assisted Donna on her regular UK visits and in January 2008 on her Advanced Teacher Training in New Zealand.

I am a founder member of Bodywise Natural Health Centre and am a qualified Shiatsu practitioner. My interest in Chinese Medicine influences my own practice and my teaching.

Yoga continues to inspire me. As a versatile practice, it always has something to offer. I enjoy the challenge of making the fruits of this practice accessible to everyone. My motivation as a teacher is to bring sensitivity clarity and precison through my teaching helping people experience profound support from the constant rhythm of the breath enabling them to reconnect to their fundamental sense of well-being.
